Undergraduate Admission Requirements

(1) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and high school graduation certificate, in good physical and mental health.
(2) Age of 18 or above (by September 1, 2019). For the applicants under 18, please submit Guarantee Statement.
(3) For those who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens, the conditions set by the Document No. 83 (2009) of Ministry of Education of the PRC should be met.
(4) Language Proficiency

• Chinese Medium Programs

Chinese language proficiency of HSK Level 4 or above. Applicants whose native language is Chinese, or who can provide proof of studying at a high school where the teaching language is Chinese, can apply for exemption for HSK requirements

• English Medium Programs

Good English language proficiency. For those whose native language is not English, please provide score report of English language test (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS/others).

4. HSK certificate (for Chinese-instructed program applicants)
5. Applicants who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens should submit (1) cancellation certificate of Chinese citizenship (2) current citizenship certificate (3)Exit and Entry Record on passport, from April 30,2015 to April 30, 2019
6. Applicants under 18 (by September 1,2019 ) should submit Guarantee Statement
7.Certificate of Non-criminal Record
8. Remittance receipt of the application fee

Postgraduate Admission Requirements

(1) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and Bachelor's degree for master program
applicants, in good physical and mental health.
(2) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and Master's degree for doctoral program
applicants, in good physical and mental health.
(3) Language Proficiency:

• Chinese Medium Programs

Chinese language proficiency of HSK Level 4 (score 210 or above) or HSK Level 5.
If you have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree taught in Chinese in China, you may apply for exemption for HSK requirements.

• English Medium Programs

Good English language proficiency. For those whose native language is not English, please provide score report of English language test (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS/others).

Non-degree Admission Requirements

(1) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport, in good physical and mental health.

(2) Generally under the age of 45.
